Could someone please tell me how to get images, buttons, etc. to show up on the left hand side of my template? What is the html code for that?

Whenever I add anything to the template it goes to the bottom. Which is okay to a point but it's getting ridiculous down there.

Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?
