I do most of my entries at work due to the fact that work sucks. And also, I cannot think in my house. Its too noisy and there are too many distractions. Namely my 51 way cool hi-def television, my bed and the splendiferous pantry-o-snacks. Likewise, any surfing of the Internet is done at work due to the fact that, again, work sucks and, in addition to the distractions at my house, my laptop requires actual work to get set-up and, well, t.v./bed/snacks, remember?

Besides the obvious reason work is not the place to do entries and surf, there was another, more consequential reason. I mean sure, youve got everything all ready to go right there in front of you, a relatively comfortable office chair, adequate lighting and plenty of desk space on which to sprawl. What you dont have is a good computer or monitor. And by you I mean me.

The computer I used to have was built sometime around 1410 A.D. apparently with some twine and candles and actual running mice and whatever else the 1410 A.D.-ians had laying around. The monitor was even older and further built of less substantial matter. When this monitor rolled off the assembly line I believe the Statue of Liberty was in pigtails and the Dead Sea was just sick. As a result, though I loved writing the entries and posting them and really, really loved reading others entries, I never appreciated add-ins or graphics or actual, yknow, colors because I could not see or discern them. I had no idea what I was missing out on.

I didnt know for instance that the ship on poolagirls site moves or that her mad puppy is so darn cute. It appearing as it did to me as a fuzzy, colorless, somewhat dog-shaped blob. Or that the contrasting color on sock-girlies site was red. I had wondered about her (and hissandtells) choice of black and salmon as a color scheme. Or that blofelds site contained any colors besides black, blacker and more black. Or how pretty the flowers were on my good friend tothefloors site. She probably doesnt know either since she has the same antiquated monitor I used to have. Or that dinky-creeks site is so colorful. Or that, what appeared to me to be an odd-toothed comb on dangerspouses site was actually piano keys. And dont even get me started on the wondrous colors of gumphoods site. The fug choices of (celebrities? you decide) are even fuglier!

I know it seems a small thing but now that I know/see these thingsWOW. Ive been having so much fun! Its like Im rediscovering everything! All things are new, clean and untouched by the malevolence that is crappy monitors. I feel reborn! Okay, not reborn, but at least rejuvenated in my love for DiaryLand and all things Web related. And, lets get to whats really important and what this entry is all about, shall we?

Porn looks so awesome now.
