My husband will wander around the apartment for 10 minutes looking for something to read before going into the bathroom. If he can't find anything to read, he doesn't go. What's up with that??

I saw a guy so drunk he couldn't shit in the bowl...rather off the bowl. I lost faith in humanity.

Gump, I just gotta ask... why were you watching him shit? Ok, I've watched a few drunks taking leaks over the years, but come on, the line of couth simply must be drawn somewhere.

I get my best thinking done in there, and, if you know me, you'll know that the whole "thinking" business is always time-consuming. In fact, time has no meaning in my potty. I have a nexxus of the space-time continuum on my toilet. Plus, sometimes we really do need to know important things about Oprah's diet (People) or how to "wash, rinse, repeat."
Afterall, we are only men.

I agree with judd, I have learned a lot about taking my time in the bathroom from guys. It helps that there were hundreds of back issues of comics at my place of business, often located in the john too. As much as I read EW, I don't read it in the can. The Star I might wipe my ass with. That bad.

I may be one of the few exceptions on the men's side. I treat my bathroom trips like a bomb diffusing training session-do the job and get the hell out. Besides how many times can I read the words "guar hydroxypropyltrimonium chloride?"

I'm not going into too much detail about my personal habits here. I'm just gonna say: methylchloroisothiazolinone is in shampoo.

I could go for your proposal -- as long as you accept a counterproposal that says women can only go into the bathroom twice a day. After that, the door locks. Oh, and a gadget to make makeup mirrors go opaque after, say 15 minutes. I mean, how long can that *take*?

Oh no, no, don't time people's poopies! I'm one of those people who enjoys the smelly tranquility of the bogroom too. Okay, sure it stinks sometimes, but everyone likes their own flavour, right? (I'm sorry, I've been hanging round Pigeon too long. Boys warp the fragile mind.) Also, have you received notice regarding when "odoriferous" is going to be officially added to the dictionary?

As much as I'd love to coin a new word, odoriferous is actually in the dictionary, mine anyway (Webster's II New College Dictionary). Whats say we work on coming up with a new word for odor....ododrama? smellorific?

Man, I gotta take a crap.

What do illiterate men do when they have to go? Yet another reason illiteracy is bad- it must lead to constipation.
