They should make a reality TV show called "The Dirty South." All they'd have to do is put a camera up in Walmart and hospital emergency rooms, and just let the camera run. I've wanted to do that SO many times since I moved to Georgia.

Oh, I was one of those Northerners (North meaning Canada, eh.)who thought anyone with the faintest drawl was kind of speaking in some backwoods possum-eatin' dialect. Fate saw it fit that I was corrected by moving me to a slum neighbourhood of New Orleans. I cannot say often enough how completely WRONG I was-- I figure now that if I can even understand one word out of three, it's the Queen's English.

Superglued children aside, I've met people with hillbilly accents before that I couldn't even understand. Jan and Jimmy Ray were both from Alabama, and when they spoke with each other, it was such a mess of accents, missing teeth, and strange colloquialisms that we were better off just leaving them alone. On the off-chance you could make out the words they said, there was no way you could decipher the expressions that spewed forth. "You're whatter than a what on what day? Is that a good thing?"

My son had surgery on the side of his face and they also used adhesive instead of stiches. Now that it has healed it looks amazing considering what he went through.

speaking for those of us scarred (but smarter) from childhood, i would have welcomed the super glue technique. i wonder if super glue would help seal an eyebrow hole?
